中文摘要 | 褐班現象屬於紙張劣化之一,不但降低珍貴書畫、藝品之典藏價值,更影響紙 質文物之保存。為瞭解紙類褐斑現象發生原因,本試驗針對褐斑紙樣進行初步觀察及分析 。試驗結果顯示,褐斑之顏色偏黃(+b*),機器紙褐斑多呈雪花狀,手工紙則多呈靶心狀 與雪花狀並存之形狀。褐班區域之SEM圖示,除誘斑紙外其他紙樣皆可發現真菌類之菌絲 及抱子之存在。褐斑污染部位之表面pH值多較無褐斑區域者為低,手工紙試樣尤為明顯。 能量分散光譜儀EDS)分析結果證實誘斑紙之褐斑應為Fe元素所造成。以顯微霍氏紅外線光 譜儀進行紙樣非破壞性散反射分析,結果顯示在褐斑部位之氨基酸及多醣類降解產物相關 之紅外線1654cm□光譜吸收峰處有增高之趨勢。 |
英文摘要 | "Toxing" may be caused by the biodegradations of paper, in which not only apparently decreases the life of rare books, paintings and art crafts, it also affects the preservation of cultural relics. We attempt to investigate the cause of foxed spot appeared on paper- based materials and recover the foxed paper thereafter. The experimental results are summarized as follows: Foxed spot usually showed yellowish color which can be interpreted as +b* in CIE LAB svstem. Snowflake-like foxed spot were the mostly common shape for machine-made papers, both snowflake and bulleye foxed spots were found in hand-made papers. Except rust spot, hvphaeand conidia of microorganisms were found on the foxed area by SEM observation. A lower surface pH of foxed area were found out when compared with that of unfoxed area. Fe and Ni elements were also found on the rust spot of paper by EDS analysis. By FTIR analysis of foxed area, it revealed that: the increase in absorption at wavenumber of 1654cm-1 indicated degradable peptide and decomposed cellulose polvsacarides. |
