中文摘要 | 本研究用錢李氏模式(Chien-Li'sModel)分析指出 意念單元形成是錄影帶幫助英語聽力理解之主要原 因。抽樣學生共178位分別來自文、理、工、商科 系。為了確認英語學習者在訓練中的最大需求,所有 學生一共接受了12次英語聽力測試。測試體材包含日 常會話、新聞報導、氣象報告、故事、敘述文各類之 不同類別文體。依據錢李氏模式計算出各聽力元素的 相關份量並予以分析;錢李氏模式是一可解釋中國學 生英語聽力理解過程的模式。本研究分析結果顯示錄 影帶提供視覺提示主要是有助益意念單元之形成,而 聽力理解中最重要元素是意念單元之形成。 |
英文摘要 | This study points out that the role of video tapes helps the fonnation of ideas in processing spoken English by Chien-Li's Model analysis (1997).One hundred and seventy-eight univer sity students in science, engineering, business, and liberal arts participated in this study. In order to identify what kinds of help the EFL learners needed the most in listening training, their listening comprehension was tested on the materials, which differed in the types of text (for example, conversation, news report, weather repose story and narrative). Then, the weight of the elements contributing to the under standing was computed according to Chien-Li's model. Itis a model that explains the interpretative behaviors of the Chinese EFL group and demonstrates the relative weights between elements and levels of understanding. The quantitative analysis indicates that the use of visual aids for information processing is effective on the formation of ideas in Chinese EFL learners' interpreting oral input. |
