中文摘要 | 本文描述我國同步輻射研空中心(SRRC)在日本高輝度光科學研究所(JASRI)之8GeV同步輻射加速器(SPring-8)建造BL12XU臺灣光束線(APCST Beam Line)之真空聚頻磁鐵(In-Vacuum Undulator)與前端區(Front End)真空系統。真空聚頻磁鐵為將3.2cm週期長、140個週期數、約4.48m總長之組合永久磁鐵陣列安裝於超高真空腔內,其磁極間隙可由50mm連續調整至最小的6.5mm。此磁鐵安裝於SPring-8,在電子束流強度100mA時可產生總功率約14.0kW之同步輻射硬X光。前端區真空系統為針對前述真空聚頻磁鐵光束之最大橫向偏折參數(K)為2.62而設計。真空氣壓低於2×10-10Torr。主要之高熱負載元件包括“固定遮孔(Fix Mask)"、”光吸收器(Absorber)"、“前置狹縫(Pre-Slit)"、 ”XY狹縫(XY-Slit)"、“鈹窗(Beryllium Windows)”等配置,用於吸收雜光熱負載以保護下游元件。此外,X光位置偵測器(XBPM)可長期監測光束位移,為4片電極光電子發射式設計,可達微米之位置偵測解析度。 |
英文摘要 | Construction of the in-vacuum undulator and the front end for a BL12XU Taiwanese APCST beam line at SPring-8 by collaborating between Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (SRRC) and Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI) is described. The in-vacuum undulator, 3.2 cm in period length, 140 in number of period, 4.48 m in total length, is composed of permanent magnet arrays that are installed inside an ultra-high vacuum vessel. The open gap between the magnetic poles is continuously adjustable from 50 mm to 6.5 mm. This undulator, which installed in the storage ring of SPring-8, operated at a beam current of 100 mA, is capable to produce the hard X-ray at a total radiation power of 14.0 kW. The front end vacuum system is designed to accept the maximum deflection parameter, K-factor, of 2.62. The ultimate pressure is < 2 × 10-10 Torr. The major parts, called the high-heat-load components (HHLC), comprise of the fix-mask, absorber, pre-slit, XY-slit, and Beryllium windows, function to absorb the heat load of unused scattering light and to protect the downstream components. In addition to the HHLC, an Xray beam position monitor, XBPM, is set for monitorying the positions of photon beam. The XBPM belongs to the 4-blade photoemission type, which can achieve a detection positional resolution of ~1μm. |
