英文摘要 | Mathematical models with analytical solutions for the continuous extraction of phenol from dilute solution in a continuous mixing tank by liquid membranes are developed. Models developed in this paper can predict the extraction rate of phenol from dilute solution under various operating conditions. The parameters used for the prediction, such as physical and chemical properties and operating condition, can be determined before actual extraction run. The ranges of operating conditions and the best operating condition are provided in this paper. The extraction system presented in this paper can be scaled up and applied to industry directly. The model and results from this paper can be used to design the continuous extraction system and equipment sizing. |
