中文摘要 | 鑑於約半數護理人員遭受過男病患之性騷擾,並影響到護理行為與 護理品質,乃針對護生對於男性病患性騷擾的態度與因應策略進行了解。研究以全省各學程 之八所護理學校已有實經驗之女學生為對象,以問卷方式進行調查, 共發出問卷 1,496 份 ,回收率 91.42 %。 問卷內容包括:護生對性騷擾之認知、護生對性騷擾之態度及護生對 臨床性騷擾情境之即刻因應策略。研究結果顯示:59.6 %護生有過被性騷擾經驗,43.4 % 護生遭遇病患性騷擾情境。護生對病患肢體騷擾的認知分數最高 (m=5.73,SD=0.76),語言 騷擾最低 (m=3.22,SD=1.54)。護生對病患性騷擾的態度趨向於認為男性病患,不論其屬性 ,是會性騷擾女性護士的。護生對性騷擾的因應態度,則趨向於感到受傷害與無力因應。面 對 18 題不同類型性騷擾,護生採積極正向策略的題分數為 7.88(SD=3.08),其中肢體接觸 騷擾最低 (m=2.39,SD=1.37),非語言騷擾最高 (m=3.09,SD=1.29)。以迴歸分析影響認知 、態度及因應策略的因素,結果顯示態度受語言性騷擾認知 (t=3.64,p<0.001)、臨床性騷 擾經驗 (t=3.61,p<0.001) 及學制 (t=-2.93,p<0.01) 的影響。採積極正向策略受因應態 度 t=-6.31,p<0.001)、 學制 (t=3.30, p<0.001) 及臨床性騷擾經驗 )(t=2.22, p<0.01) 的影響。護生認為醫療情境中病患的性騷擾無可避免,對病患性騷擾感到無力,也缺乏積極 正向因應能力。建議護生於實習前即具備有關性騷擾防治的知識與能力,並於臨床實習中加 強發生情境的討論,加強正向應變能力,維護護生權益,也重視病人權益。 |
英文摘要 | There were some studies which reported that one half of the female nurses are sexually harassed by male patients. Sexual harassment will influence nurses' behaviors and nursing qualities. This study is to investigate nursing students' cognition, attitudes, and ability to stop sexual harassment. We selected 1,476 female student nurses from the diploma programs, associate degree programs, and baccalaureate programs of the eitght nursing schools, and asking them to fill in the questionnaires which explore their experiences on sexual harassment, recognition and attitude toward sexual harassment, and ability to stop sexual harassment. The result are as follows:59.6% student nurses have ever been sexually harassedin the past, and 43.4% student nurses were sexually harassed by patients. The score of the recognition to p hysical contact harassment (m=5.73, SD=0.76) is higher than that of the verbal form (m=3.22, SD=1.54). Students' attitude toward sexual harassment tends to admit that female nurse might be sexually harassed by male patient, regardless of patient's characteristics. Student nurses feel get hurt and helpless toward sexual harassment. In confronting with 18 harassment situations, the total score for stopping sexual harassment. assertively by female nurse is 7.88 (SD=3.08), out of which the physical form is 2.39 (SD=1.37), and the verbal form is 3.09 (SD=1.29). Student' nurses attitudes will be influence by their recognitions to verbal sexual harassment (t=3.64, p<0.001), experiences in clinical harassment situations (t=3.61, p<0.001), and study programs (t=-2.93, p<0.01). Selecting assertive strategies will be influence by their attitudes to confront with sexual harassments (t=-6.31, p<0.001), study programs (t=3.30, p<0.001), and experiences in clinical harassment situations (t=2.22, p<0.05) . Sexual harassment does exist in the hospital setting. Student nurses feel powerless and get hurt toward sexual harassment. Student nurses are lacking ability to confront with the sexual harassment by patients. In order to protect student nurses' right as well as to concern for patients' right, the student nurses' ability to confront with and to prevent sexual harassments should be well prepared before the clinical practice. Students' assertive ability to confront sexual harassment can be improved through clinical discussions. |
