中文摘要 | 根據1160位學生所作的問卷調查,16至19歲的各級學生對於放射性物質的基本觀 念及對放射性同位素的知識普遍不足,而且對這些物質與環境間的關係普遍存在著負面價值 。推究其原因可能是學校資訊傳播不足或是媒體報導不夠客觀所致。調查結果亦顯示,接受 普通化學課程訓練的大學相關科系受訪學生,對於放射性的認知優於其他受訪學生,但對於 環境中的放射性認知仍嫌偏低。因此,若能在中學或大學通識教育課程中,適時溶入相關教 材,應能導正對於放射性的認知偏差,並可有效灌輸其對放射性物質的正確觀念。 |
英文摘要 | Regarding the impacts of radioactive materials on environments, surveys conducted from 1,160 questionnairs showed that the majority of students in age of 16 ∼ 19 have somewhat negative images to radioactivity and the related problems. It is likely to result from the improper information from public media and/or shortage in knowledge on this area. Analysis for these questionnaires, in addition, indicated that the students in college showed more positive attitude towards radioactivity compared to those in other levels. This result was tentatively ascribed to either the training or introduction from the available freshmen courses, like General Chemistry, although the information is still relatively less sufficient. In this regard, an earlier education with respect to this area and the associated problems appears urgent and needed. |
