英文摘要 | The foci of this paper include to examine the concept of community learning needs, how to access community needs, and how to collect and analyze data from the fieldwork. There are two different perspectives in terms of learning needs; one is functional perspective, the other is empowerment perspective. And it is necessary to distinguish three different levels of needs, individual, organizational, and community needs. Moreover, needs assessment methods can be classified into formal and informal methods. Finally, this paper describes needs assessment work done in Hsin-Kong Township using two methods, survey and focused group. The comparisons of results from two methods are made. |
