中文摘要 | 本文重點是在評估大一英文二段式能力分班教學是否有效,並探討學生對能力分班教學之意見。研究結果發現學生不因分在實驗組(採能力分班教學)或控制組(不按能力分班教學)而有不同程度的進步。至於學生問卷調查,結果發現有大多數的學生反對分班,而參與實驗的學生有更高的比例是反對分班。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of the study was to evaluate whether it is effective in the instruction of Freshman English to place students into different level English classes according to their English ability, and also to explore student opinionon this matter. The results of this study revealed that students in the experimental group (who received different level English instruction) and students in the control group (who received general English instruction) did not show different degrees of improvement in English. With regard to the survey of student opinion, the majority, of the freshmen were opposed to different level English instructicn, with the percentage of opposing students being even higher in the classes invclved in this experiment. |
