中文摘要 | 樹高常是林木材積推算的最重要因子之一,但精確地測計樹高是件費時且艱鉅的工作。在經費與時間有限下,使用“樹高-直徑”方程式預測樹高較測定每木樹高更有效率。此外,樹高生長亦可透過“樹高-直徑”方程式進行間接的預測。本研究針對臺灣地區人工林之不同樹種,使用加權非線性迴歸分析方法配製樹高方程式,除原有的直徑解釋變數外,再加入林分斷面積和地位生產力指數等相關變數,使單一樹種的多種林況變異情形獲得更適合的解釋和預測。研究結果顯示:臺灣地區大部分的主要樹種皆可獲得顯著的“樹高-直徑”方程式。此外,當樹高方程式加入地位生產力指數作為解釋變數時,僅適用於各林型中最具代表性的樹種。 |
英文摘要 | Three height is one of the most important factors in assessing tree volume, but it is time consuming for foresters to measure precisely. Under the restrictions of cost and time, the use of height-diameter equations becomes an efficient way to predict tree volume. Furthermore, foresters also can use these equations to indirectly estimate height growth by diameters measured in a continuous inventory. This study presented height-diameter equations for tree species of plantations in Taiwan. Equation coefficients were estimated with weighted nonlinear regression analysis. Because stand basal area and site productivity index could influence tree height, alternative equations including stand basal area and site productivity index as independent variables were also presented. Results showed that most of the important species has significant height-diameter equations. Besides, most of these equations could be improved, if we added stand basal area as another independent variable. We also suggested that only the dominant species of each forest type could use the height-diameter equations with site productivity index as an independent variable. |
