中文摘要 | 當產業在發展與整合資訊系統於製造業過程中,產業與學界均強調資訊管理和生產管理兩個部門是不容忽視的重要單位。就截至目前,業界認為學界在探討製造業資訊系統之整合研究時,並未同時對管理資訊系統和生產管理兩者作更深入的實證;起因於大多數生產管理者具有非常專業的現場管理技術,但缺乏資訊系統的整合之應用;而資訊管理部門又欠缺結合資訊科技與動態的製程管理之實證,致使產業至今仍缺一完善的整合資訊科支與管理實務可依循的模式;其中就以資訊系統輔助生產管理和電腦整合製造業即為明顯的例子。因此,本研究以臺灣和英國的製造業之資訊系統支援生產管理於製造業之執行與整合,進行六六大要項之探討:包括生管系統之背景、生管資訊系統與其相關子系統應用、系統執行與整合所遭遇的因難、促使系統整合成功因素、資訊系統之效益評估和系統之整合層級。在研究方法採取混合定性和定量分析,並以三個階段來進行個案研究及問卷調查分析:(1)首先以定性研究探討資訊科技應用於生產管理系統之實際和發展狀況;(2)將個案研究之結果建立一電腦輔助生管資訊系統之連用模式和趨勢;(3)再以定量研究深入瞭解臺灣和英國產業在執行與整合資訊科技於生產管理時之實執行狀況和影響因素,且修正與比較模式。研究結果發現,除了臺灣和英國的產業在報行與整合生產管理資訊系統之影響因素不一外,電腦整合製造、企業資源規畫和全球供應鏈管理等,均為兩個國家未來之產業資訊科技所發展的目標和趨勢。 |
英文摘要 | Mauanfacturing systems in modern industrial enterprises embodies complex decisions and systematic actions. In order to successfully and profitably operate in global logistics (GL), rapid changing markets, supply chain, optimized distribution model (ODM), build to order (BTO), configure to order (CTO), and highly flexible production need to be developed. The promotion of computer systems support for manufacturing (CSSM) now incorporates new ideas about how to mange production more flexibility, the systems themselves still incorporate rigid models inherited from the lack of link between MIS and production in CSSM. The relationship between MIS and production departments in larger companies had not been examined in depth. The aim of the research is to describe the results of a comparative study of the implementation and integration of information systems support for manufacturing in the UK and Taiwan, one of the emerging "little dragons" of Far East Asia. The research methods are: (1)A series of case studies on the use of CSSM in Taiwanese companies; and within case and cross case analysis show that the most important elements of CSSM implementation and integration has 6 parts: the nature of production systems, CSSM and related software subsystems, barriers to CSSM, facilitators to CSSM, measured benefits from CSSM investment, and the level of CSSM integration. (2)The preliminary research developed a model of CSSM implementation and integration that was used to design the research instrument of the comparative Taiwan and the UK. (3)The model of the implementation process was used to design a questionnaire to examine the development of CSSM in Taiwan and the UK. The results of this research, Taiwanese manufacturers appear to be improving the quality of their manufacturing computer systems in a more systematic and thus faster manner than their UK counterparts. A comparison of CSSM in the two countries suggests that Taiwanese manufacturers have created the platforms on which to build CSSM systems, are aware of the problems they face and have plans to overcome them. When these plans were examined and compared with the UK, both countries appear to be moving toward similar designs for their computer integrated manufacturing (CIM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and supply chain management (SCM). |
