英文摘要 | In this paper, a two-stage poppet-type pneumatic proportional pressure control valve (PPPCV) is developed and constructed. This PPPCV is intended to be installed in a low-pressure diecasting machine and serves primarily as the pressure control element. An efficient dynamic model for this PPPCV is also proposed. To calculate the nonlinear mass flow-rate of the air through the valve orifice, we propose that the two important parameters of the valve opening orifice, the conductive value C and the critical pressure ratio b, are a linear and an exponential function respectively. In details, the former is considered to be directly proportional to the effective stroke of the valve poppet, and the latter is described by an exponential function of the effective poppet-stroke. Experimental results prove that this two-stage PPPCV is successfully developed. In addition, the simulation and experimental results also show that the proposed functions of the parameters C and b as well as the presented analytical model can well simulate the dynamic behavior of the PPPCV. |
