中文摘要 | 本研究之目的在於探討技術學院二技生選擇不同升學管道(包括聯考、推甄、保甄 )的影響因素及其學習成效上的差異,以期協助技職教育工作者了解各種管道學生的學習狀 況及在教學上所需的改進方向與重點,以便協助學生們獲致一個更佳的學習環境。 基於研究資料的獲取成成本因素,本研究以傳統的二技專業科系-機械系為個案研究的對象 ,針對下列問題的探討:1.影響機械系二技生選校及選系的因素及其學習狀況;2.不同升學 管道入學之機械系二技生對於課程的精熟程度與興趣程度(包含專業科目與基礎科目);3. 機械系二技生生產規劃問題。本研究之終極目的在於幫助技術學院改善其教學環境與授課, 以提供學生們一個更佳的學習空間。 依據研究的分析,對於機械系二技生而,可歸納出下列結論:1.影響推甄學生選校及選系的 因素為前一階段的在校成績及個人意願;而聯招入學的學生則主要是受到聯考成績的影響, 並非對這所學校或科系具有興趣,學校的宣傳對學生在選校及選系時的效果極為有限;2.就 推甄的學生而言,普遍感受到老師對同學的關心,但是聯招的學生並不認同。這種現象表示 推甄的學生因為對該科系的課程內容和教師較為熟悉而有較為深刻的認同情感;相對地,聯 招入學的學生則可能因聯聯考分數之高低,盲目地進入該科系,對該科系的課程內容和教師 較不熟悉與認同;3.推甄的學生在學習環境的滿意度上明顯的高於聯招入學的學生,可能是 因為推甄的學生在選擇學校的時候,這所學校剛好符合學生的需求,所以推甄的學生對於學 習環境的滿意度較聯招入學的學生為高;4.在學習狀況的自我評鑑分析中顯示,推甄的學生 均優於聯招的學生,這顯示了推甄的學生較聯招的學生而自信。且推甄的學生翹課的頻率較 聯招的學生低;5.同學們比較能接受對於與數學較無關連的科目,至於是同學們的學習程度 較差或教學方法需要改進,仍有待日後繼續追蹤調查;相對地,對於工程數學的反應差異不 大,配合第一點來觀察,同學們學習工程數學的態度可能是死記公式以求解題,造成工程數 學的接受度超過工程數學的應用科目(如流體力學);6.推甄及聯招的學生均計劃畢業後繼 續升學,且只限於國內,不考慮到國外留學。此一現象反應顯示技職體系的學生普遍需要加 強其外語講通能力與國際視野,以因應科技國際化的必然趨勢。 |
英文摘要 | This study was conducted to compare the learning achievements for two-year senior college students enrolled in Mechanics Engineering through multifarious admission systems. This understanding might assist vocational education policy-makers and professors in curriculum development and career counseling to provide better policies and services. This study focused on the following research questions: (1) What were the crucial concerns for two-year senior college students to select the college and major? (2)Were there differences between the learning achievement and interest for those students admitted through different channels? (3)How were the career planning of two-year senior college students? The data were collected form 64 students registered in the Department of Mechanics Engineering at a national college located at the southern part of Taiwan. A self-expression questionnaire was developed and emloyed in this study. Some conclusions were drawn based on the data analysis: (1)The college students, admitted through the recommendatory system, chose university and major according their scores gained in the prior period of schools and personal interest; the students, admitted through united examination, did that decisions based on the entrance examination scores. The promotion of senior colleges might limited affect students' decisions. (2)The college students, admitted through the recommendatory system, also appreciated more the relationship with professors and facilities in the school than students admitted through entrance examination. (3)The recommendatory college students also had higher self-confidence in their learning achievement than their peers. (4)Surveyed students were more confident in the courses unrelated with mathematics. It might imply that college students need to better understand the meaning of mathematics and the improve their logical capability in order to further their professional study. (5)All surveyed students limited their further graduate study in Taiwan, only few planed to study abroad. This fact might indicate that students in vocational education programs might need to enhance their foreign language and international vision. |
