中文摘要 | 在台灣成立已超過八十年的信用合作社,對於區域金融的穩定,扮演了舉足輕重的角色。隨著金融自由化,外商銀行及國際金融機構大舉進入台灣,使得信合社的經營面臨生存危機。自民國84年財政部公佈「信用合作社變更組織為商業銀行之標準及辦法」後,許多大型信用合作社對於改制為商業銀行躍躍欲試,藉以提升競爭力,然而並非所有信合社皆能順利改制為商銀。本研究為探究影響信合社改制為商銀之因素,乃結合學理與各信合社經營實務,建立研究架構及研究假設,針對現行信合社及成功為改制商銀之理事主席與總經理,進行5點Likert尺度問卷調查。由52份有效回收問卷中,配合信度、效度、相關迴歸及區別分析,得知顯著影響信合社改制意願之主要因素,係來自經營規模、業務推展、專業形象、內部控管及組織承諾,亦即研究假設H1至H5皆經驗證成立。 |
英文摘要 | Credit cooperatives have been established for more than eighty years in Taiwan and played an important role for the stability of district finance. Due to the trend of financial banking liberalization, foreign banks and international financial institutions have rapidly entered Taiwan market that credit cooperatives have encountered the challenge of survival. After the Ministry of Finance declared “The Standards and Directives of Restructuring Credit Cooperatives into Commercial Banks” in 1985, some of large-scaled credit cooperatives were willing to restructure their organizations to commercial banks in order to upgrade their own competitiveness. Unfortunately, not all credit cooperatives have been successfully restructured. To explore the influential factors of restructuring credit cooperatives into commercial banks, this research has tried to integrate the theory and practices and then constructed the framework and related hypotheses. We have designed questionnaires based on 5-point Likert scale for the chairman and president of each current credit cooperative and commercial bank restructured from previous credit cooperative. Those statistic techniques such as reliability, validity, correlation, regression and discrimination analysis have been implemented for testifying 52 efficient samples. The determinants including size distribution, sales promotion ability, professional image, internal control and management, and organizational commitment were realized to have major effects of restructuring their credit cooperatives into commercial banks. In other words, each of the hypotheses (H1 to H5) has also been accepted. |
