中文摘要 | 交通運輸與民眾日常生活密切相關,為了追求高品質之社會與經濟活動,政府必須設法維持與提昇民眾之移動性。在達成此目的之過程中,改善公路系統之運輸效率乃是必要之一環。本文針對屏東市之三個主要道路之現密交通號誌及車流量作一調查與分析,並模擬上述各路口之交通現象。綜合發現如下:(1)燈號之變換常發現紅燈、綠燈同時亮,或黃燈已熄卻遲不見紅燈出現。(2)無左轉道之設置,致使左轉車輛停滯直行道上,阻礙直行車前進。(3)目前路口之車流量在尖峰時段流量甚大,實際燈號變換時間太短。(4)各路口之違規(如闖紅燈)情形嚴重。(5)模擬軟體之執行結果指出,延長10秒之燈號,只可舒解小部份之車流。(6)左轉道設置之模擬,發現可減少左轉等待時間約50%之多。若干建議亦於文末提出,期能供地方交通主管單位參考,以暢通道路運輸。 |
英文摘要 | This study investigated and analyzed the traffic ingals and flows of intersections located in Pingtung City, Taiwan. The results of simulation and investigation are summarized as follows:(1)It is found that the red and yellow traffic signals were always turned on simultaneously. Sometimes, when the yellow signals were off , the red signals did not turn on immediately. I t showed that the traffic signal control and maintenance systems needed to be improved. (2)The left turn vehicles blocked the through traffic due to the lack of left turn lane. (3)The duration of the traffic signal switching is too short to keep adequate traffic flows. The duration of signal switching needed to be enlarged. (4)Inappropriate driving behaviors around the intersections must be corrected immediately in order to maintain the original designing of transportation systems. (5)During peak periods, the left turn traffic is quite heavy in the intersections of Fushin and Hosen Road and Hosen and Juyo Road. There is a need to acquire left turn lanes to relieve the delays of left turn traffic. |
