中文摘要 | 早產兒由於提早出世,喪失懷孕末期累積抗氧化營養素之機會,所以早產兒抗氧化能力非常低,而易造成過氧化傷害。為了解國內早產兒抗氧化營養狀態,於中國醫藥學院附設醫院收集平均孕齡32週之早產兒31名及平均孕齡40週之足月兒34名臍血,分析其出生時體內各抗氧化相關營養素濃度,如血漿Vit. E、bilirubin、ceruloplasmin及抗氧化相關酵素(catalase, GPx, SOD)。結果顯示早產兒血漿bilirubin高於足月兒而SOD二者間無顯著性差異,其餘各項抗氧化營養素均較足月兒低(P<0.05);各抗氧化營養素與體重及孕齡並無顯著相關。SOD與catalase在追蹤期間無顯著變化;足月兒之catalase、GPx與ceruloplasmin仍高於早產兒(P<0.05)。bilirubin在出生後一週時達最高(P<0.05),追蹤至一個月時仍高於足月兒。由此實驗顯示國內早產兒仍是低抗氧化營養狀態。 |
英文摘要 | Low antioxidant protection has been considered as a factor in pathologic states in preterm infants. To assess the antioxidant status of preterm and term infants in Taichung, Taiwan, cord blood samples from 31 preterms (26-36 wks) and 34 term (38-42 wks) newborn babies in China Medical Hospital were analysed. Bilirubin levels were significantly lower in the term group and SOD activities were not significantly different between two groups. However, catalase, GPx, and Vit. E were markedly lower in the preterm group than in the term group. The correlations between antioxidant parameters and the birth weight or the gestational age were not significant. SOD and catalase remained constant for preterm group during the following period. The levels of catalase, GPx, and ceruloplasmin were also lower for the preterm groups after 4 weeks. Bilibrubin levels in preterms reached the maxium a week after birth and the bilibrubin levels were also higher in preterms 4 weeks after birth than the levels in term groups. The results indicate low antioxidant status of preterm in Taichung, Taiwan. |
