中文摘要 | 本文探討磁場對二氧化鈦膠體 z 電位的影響。實驗結果顯示,磁場有 增高粒子 z 電位的效果,但是當液相中含少量的甲醇時,該影響即大幅降低。 改變磁場暴露的環境,雖然對於 z 電位有不同程度的影響,但有其上限,無法 藉由延長暴露時間或增加磁場強度的方式,使 z 電位無限制地改變。另外,磁 場的影響具記憶效應,該效應會持續一段時間後始逐漸消失。我們提出一可能的 機制,來說明 z 電位受磁場影響的原因。 |
英文摘要 | The influence of magnetic field on the z potential of TiO2 particles is investigated experimentally. It is found that the z potential of a particle is increased after the exposure to the magnetic field. This effect becomes negligible, however, if a small amount of methanol is present in the liquid phase. The variation in the z potential has an upper limit as the experimental conditions, including the time of exposure and the strength of the magnetic field, vary. The effect of magnetic field on the z potential is found to last for about few days. A possible mechanism is proposed to explain the qualitative behaviors observed. |
