中文摘要 | 傳統數學課程靜態的呈現教材,在即將邁入二十一紀紀高科技的我們來說,實在是不足且不好。如何應用有效的軟體融入我們的教學中,實是我們每個從事教育者必須念茲在茲的。 本研究的目的是擬建構及設計可以用電子試算表來從事的數學教學的情境。線性規劃、矩陣的運算、統計中的重要機率數及其圖形都是擬設計的主題之一。在建構的過程裡將採用多層表徵理論(multiple representations)利用電子試算表的特性,創造出 文字模式(text mode)-問題情境的呈現 數值模式(numerical mode)-探索各種可能數值的變化 圖形模式(graphical mode)-對應數值更動的圖形變化 各模式之間是動態連結的;亦即始用者可以更改文字模式中的數值(探索各種不同的情境,確定了解問題),但其相關的數值及圖形模式就快速地更動。 當建構的環境完成後,與學校的數學教師討論設計得失(專家座談)並在學校的數理科教學研究會發表;就修正後的結果,抽樣選取學生進行試教,並根據教師及學生所提供的意見進行潤飾與修改。 |
英文摘要 | The mathematics curriculum is commonly considered inadequate, especially the traditional textbook can not present and solve a mathematical situation dynamically. As mathematics teachers, we should assume the responsibility of designing a new mathematics curriculum for our students in the Age of High Technology to come. The purpose of this study is to design a computer microworld for mathematics instruction. The topics cover linear program, matrix operation, probability density, and statistics. The multiple representations theory will be employed for the design. This microwold will be built up in the Microsoft Excel software. Three modes will be constructed in this microworld: (i) text mode- to create a situation or to state the problem; (ii) numerical mode- to explore all the possibility of changing the variables: and (iii) graphical model- to draw the numerical values. All these three modes are linked. Whenever the user changes the variables values, the related values will be dynamically changed. The researcher will discuss with experts when this microwold is completed and present the final product to the mathematics teachers team. A microteaching for testing the product will be conducted when necessary. |
