中文摘要 | 大大首先對共振式轉換器( resonant converter )和柔切式 ( soft-switching )轉換器做一簡介, 這些轉換器的缺點不是電壓應力( voltage stress )過高,就是電流應力( current stress )過高,而使導通損失( conduction loss )增加。 相較於前述之轉換器, 由於零電壓轉換( Zero- Voltage-Transition-ZVT )結合了柔切和 PWM 的特性,使所有半導體裝置( semiconductor devices )操作在定頻 之下,且這種架構具有很低的電壓、電流應力,以及整流二極體皆有柔切的特性,故導通損 失能減至最小。 雖然 ZVT-PWM 轉換器具有上述的優點,但其應用於直流馬達驅動的相關探 討, 至今仍付之闕如,因此大大探討將 ZVT 的技術應用在直流馬達的驅動上的相關情形與 分析,並提出一個低成本且可應用於 ZVT-PWM 轉換器之新型驅動電路,並將 ZVT-PWM 轉換 器驅動直流馬達和傳統硬切式 PWM 轉換器作比較,由實驗證明 ZVT-PWM 轉換器驅動直流馬 達,能夠減少切換損失並提高馬達的效率 5% 左右。 |
英文摘要 | This paper firstly introduces the resonant and the soft-switching converters. These converters are subjected to either high switch voltage stress or high switch current stress, which leads to a substantial increase in conduction loss. The Zero-Voltage-Transition (ZVT) techniques which combine Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM) with the soft-switching characteristics make all semiconductor devices be operated at constant frequency. ZVT structure has also very low voltage and current stress and soft-switching of the recifier diode. Therefore, ZVT converters have the minimum conduction loss. Although Zero-Voltage-Transition Pulse-Width-Modulated (ZVT-PWM) converter has the above advantages, the application of ZVT-PWM converter to dc motor drive haven't be discussed until now. The ZVT-PWM technique applied to dc motor drive is then discussed. This paper also proposes a new low-cost drive circuit suitable to the ZVT-PWM converter. Copmarison of ZVT-PWM converter-fed dc motor with traditional hard-switching PWM topology shows the ZVT-PWM converter-fed dc motor can reduce conduction loss and improve the efficiency about 5%. |
