中文摘要 | 這篇論文所設計的系統,是一個讓初學者在上面做LISP遞迴函式撰寫練習的 智慧型電腦輔助學習( intelligent computer assisted learning )系統,在這個系統裡 我們整合了自然語言處理技術( natural language processing )與智慧型電腦輔助學習 的教學理論。學習者可以在系統中,自由地用中文口語的句子,以鍵盤輸入的方式與系統溝 通, Buddy 系統會嘗試著對學習者所輸入的句子做自然語言理解( natural language understanding ),再根據此理解及學習者目前的情況做適當的回應。系統在一定的時間內 ,也會主動地檢查學習者的進展而給予鼓勵、督促或提示。 此外,系統中亦備有若干的的教學策略,依據學習者的學習記錄對學習者因才施教,其教學 策略是一種〞蘇格拉底〞( Socratic dialog )。 而學生常犯的錯誤,我們也製作成學生 錯誤模型( Student misconception model ), 系統以此錯誤模型可以告訴學習者錯誤的 原因,及給予適當的建議。學習者的學習情況,系統也將詳實的記錄成檔案可供教育學者研 究之用。 |
英文摘要 | Buddy is an intelligent Computer assisted learning (ICAL) system for helping students learn Lisp recursion. The system uses some natural language processing techniques and applies some ICAL theories. A learner and Buddy communicate in Chinese during a learning session. The learner tells Buddy his problems by typing in Chinese sentences. Buddy tries to understand the learner's problems, and gives him a suitable response. Besides, Buddy will check the student's progress and respond with a hint, a cheer, or an urge depending on the student's performance. There are several Socratic teaching strategies in the system. The system tends to pick a teaching strategy that is more effective in helping the learner previously. We build also a student misconception model in order to give the learner more information about his bugs. A learner's detailed activities are stored in a file by the system for future study and development. |
