英文摘要 | The aim of this study is to investigate the criterions of the department of Nutrition in hospital when choosing the company of contract management for food service. One hundred and twenty three hospitals on the accreditation list by government in 1995, including medical center, regional hospital, and local teaching hospital, were selected as subjects in this study. The questionnaires were sent to the chair of Nutrition department or the senior dietitian in hospitals in April, 1997. The recovery of questionnaires is 61%. According to the result of factor analysis, three factors were extracted for the considerations of the department of Nutrition in hospital when choosing the company of contract management for food service. The first factor is the professional capability of company. The second factor is the ability of company professional management of the company. In terms of professional capability and management, medical center was more concerned about those of the company than regional hospital (P<0.05). According to the factor analysis, the advantages of contract management included 1. Environmental factor: cost savings of space and facility 2. Professional management: with better quality and efficiency. In addition, the disadvantages of contract management included 1. Quality control and management 2. Scarce of qualified companies. |
