中文摘要 | 本研究係藉由密植式採穗園之設置,以探討植距與營養系對牛樟枝穗 之生產與品質之效應。將14個月生之已發根扦插苗移植至採穗園,經18個月後 施行第一次採穗,繼而分別於22個月及26個月時實施,前後計三次採穗。研究 結果顯示:不同採穗期或植距對枝穗生產量均無顯著效應,惟隨著採穗序次或栽 植密度之增加,枝穗產量有增加之趨勢;枝穗品質(包括發根率及成苗率)不因植 距而異,惟於不同採穗期間具極顯著差異;枝穗生產量、發根率與平均成苗量於 營養系間均具極顯著差異。如以三次採穗之總量為全年之合計,則植距為 30×30cm(栽植密度為10 stocks/m2)之處理,每平方公尺可生產69株之穗苗,植 距為30×40 cm(栽植密度為7.5 stocks/m2)及30×50 cm(栽植密度為6 stocks/m2) 者,每平方公尺各可生產 68株與55株之穗苗。本研究所發展出之密植式採穗 園,因為所需苗圃用地甚少,管理成本低,且可集約經營與管理,採穗母株容易 更新,而穗苗產量又為疏植採穗園之30倍,相當值得林務單位採用。 |
英文摘要 | A clonal orchard composed of several clone plantings in different densities was established to determine the production and rooting qualities of cuttings in this study. Cuttings were harvested 3 times at 18, 22, and 26 mo after planting, respectively. The production of cuttings among different harvest orders and planting densities did not significantly differ. Cutting qualities, including rooting and survival rates, showed no differences among planting densities. However, there were significant differences among harvested orders. In addition, there were significant differences among clones in the production of cuttings, rooting rates, and the average numbers of surviving rooted cuttings. Annual cutting productions based on the sum of 3 collection times in sites with 30×30 cm, 30×40 cm, and 30×50 cm planting densities were 69, 68, and 55 rooted cuttings/m2, respectively. The scion orchard of high planting densities established in this study has the adventages of small area requirements, low tending costs, and ease of intensive management. Moreover, it is easy to renew old stocks when the scions become aged. This orchard could produce 30 times the number of cuttings of a garden with low planting density, suggesting this system can be adopted by forestry organizations. |
