| 中文摘要 | 試驗分三次進行,使用畜試所自行育成之一齡四元雜交肉用土雞,試 驗一、二分別為240隻,試驗三為270隻,以相同實用飼糧飼養至四週齡後逢機 分成四組(試驗一、二)或五組(試驗三)進行試驗。基礎飼糧以玉米-大豆粕為主, 調配成含粗蛋白質19%、代謝能3000kcal╱kg、含硫胺基酸0.70%(試驗一、二) 或粗蛋白質17%、代謝能3000kcal╱kg、含硫胺基酸0.61%(試驗三)之飼糧;以 合成DL-甲硫胺酸逐級添加於基礎飼糧,使處理組含硫胺基酸量分別為0.70、 0.80、0.90、1.00%(試驗一、二)及0.61、0.81、1.01、1.21、1.41%(試驗三)。試 驗雞隻4日齡,2、6週齡接種新城雞病(ND)疫苗,於7週齡接種綿羊紅血球 (SRBC),8週齡抽血檢測抗體力價。試驗結果顯示,含硫胺基酸0.70%(CP19%) 及0.61%(CP17%)可滿足5∼8週齡土雞生長之最低需要量,添加甲硫胺酸可改 善生長效率,但當含硫胺基酸0.80%(CP19%)及1.01%(CP17%)以上時則降低之 效果。免疫反應測試結果顯示,額外添加甲硫胺酸對免疫反應之影響並不一致, 此外,生長性能與免疫反應有反比之趨勢,性別則對免疫反應無顯著之影響(P >0.05)。 |
| 英文摘要 | Three experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of dietary methionine supplementation on the growth performance and immune response of Taiwan native chicken at 5 ~ 8 weeks of age. Two hundred and forty day-old four-way cross Taiwan native chicks bred from Taiwan Livestock Research Institute were used in Exp. 1 & 2 and another 270 were used in Exp. 3, respectively. The chicks were raised with the same practical diets till 4 weeks of age and were then randomly assigned to four (Exp. 1 & 2) and five groups (Exp.3) feeding with experimental diets. The corn-soybean meal basal diets contained 19% crude protein, 3,000 kcal/kg metabolizable energy, 0.70% sulfur amino acids in Exp. 1 & 2 and 17% crude protein, 3,000 kcal/kg metabolizable energy, 0.61% sulfur amino acids in Exp. 3. DL-methionine was added in the amount of 0.00, 0.10, 0.20, 0.31% in Exp. 1 & 2 and 0.00, 0.20, 0.41, 0.61, 0.82% in Exp. 3. The chickens were vaccinated with 0.5 ml of 5% sheep red blood cell (SRBC) at 7 weeks of age and Newcastle disease vaccine at 4 days, 2 week and 6 week of age. Blood samples were collected for the determination of blood characteristics and antibody titer at 8 weeks of age. The results showed that 0.70% (CP 19.6%) and 0.61% (CP 17.5%) dietary sulfur amino acids were enough for the minimum growth requirement of native chicken at 5 ~ 8 weeks of age. Added methionine could improve growth performance. However, the effect of added methionine decreased when the contents of sulfur amino acids exceeded 0.80% (CP 19.6%) and 1.01% (CP 17.5%). The results of immune response showed that supplementation of additional DL-methionine did not uniformly improve immune response. Besides, growth performance tended to be negatively related to immune response. Sex did not significantly affect immune response (P>0.05). |
