中文摘要 | 從巨觀的角度來看,智能與思考均為造就人類文明的主要特徵;而從微觀的角度來看,智能與思考是促成個體發展的重要特質。批判思考為一複雜的認知思考過程;一位良好的批判思考者必須具備一最完善的知識、意向及技巧,方能合理地對問題加以澄清與評估,進而做成決策並解決問題。近年來,各國對於培養具有批判思考能力的21世紀公民的專業人員有更為重視的趨勢。本世紀以來,學者們所提出的智能理論(尤其是Howard Gardner的多元智能論及Robert Sternberg智能三元論)對批判思考的教學有重大的啟示。本文的目的即在從微觀的角度探討智能與批判思考的關係,並提出促進有效批判思考教學的建議。 |
英文摘要 | Viewing from a macro-perspective, intelligence and thinking are two main characteristics that create human civilization; while from a micro-perspective, intelligence and thinking are two important traits that achieve a sound human development. Critical thinking is a complex cognitive process. A good critical thinker needs a set of knowledge, disposition, and skills to reasonably clarify and evaluate a problem, by which one makes decisions to solve the problem. Cultivating citizens and professionals who are good at critical-thinking has recently become a worldwide trend; it is getting emphasized. The theories for intelligence, especially Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligence and Robert Sternberg’s Triarchic Theory of Intelligence, shed a light on the teaching of critical thinking. This articles is to analyze the relationship between intelligence and critical thinking as well as to propose some suggestions for effective critical-thinking instruction. |
