英文摘要 | This study tries to explore the teachers' assessment on mathematics achiev ement of the students. The statistics and content analysis are used in the res earch in which 309 math teachers in the elementary schools are included. The main findings of the study are: (1) In general, the teachers assess students' achievement by the traditional way of paper and pencil test. (2) The teacher's math assessment are relevant to the scale of school and teacher's sex. (3) Regarding the better way of giving tests, most of the teachers show preference toward taking turn to design (4) The test is mostly based on textbooks, exercises, etc. (5) The teachers take great consideration on whether the test will tell the difference of students' math achievement, namely, the norm-referenced test. |
