英文摘要 | An impinging jets crystallization technique is used to directly produce uniform, fine particles. Two high-speed liquid jets continuously impinging onto each other cause highly intensive micromixing effects within the mixing liquids. As a result, a very uniform composition is formed and subsequently uniform and fine particle sized crystals are precipitated in the mixing liquids. In addition, the purity and the stability of the particles are improved by this method. The results indicate that the impinging jets method has a promising reproducibility. It is also found that smaller size and narrower distribution of the particles can be obtained by increasing the supersaturation of the D,L-aspartic acid solution. Furthermore, it is concluded that the impinging jets crystallization provides for good control over the particle size and size distribution, in comparison with conventional crystallization technique. |
