中文摘要 | l999年9月21日清晨l時47分於臺灣中部地區發生地震規模ML=7.3之強震,此強震全臺均發生有感之地震,於震央附近亦收集到有數筆最大地表加速度大於98Ocm/sec2之強震歷時。此地震是由於車籠埔斷層之錯動(錯動長度約為105公里)而引起,由於是發生在西部島內之地震因此造成極大之損失,地震發生後,國家地震工程研究中心即刻整合國內學術界及工程界人士進行相關之震災調查。收集相關災情及結構物破壞資料,以做為未來在耐震設計及相關後續研究之參考。調查之項目包含下列九項: (一)斷層及地質震災調查 (二)強地動特性之探討 (三)大地工程破壞之調查(包含土壤液化、基礎破壞及坡地破壞) (四)建築物之破壞 (五)橋梁及運輸系統之破壞 (六)維生線系統之破壞調查(含瓦斯系統、電力系統及通訊系統) (七)工業設施之破壞調查 (八)水利設施之破壞調查 (九)社會經濟損失之調查 所調查之資料供災後重建委員會在推動災後重建之各項工作參考,同時配合中心之資訊小組所建立之災情分析系統,提供必要之分析。 |
英文摘要 | On September 21, 1999 at 01:47 AM an earthquake with magnitude ML=7.3 was occurred at the central part of Taiwan. The ground shaking induced by this earthquake was felt all over the island. Near the epicenter some strong motion instruments collected ground acceleration time history with PGA greater than 980 cm/sec2. This earthquake was caused by the rupture of Chelungpu fault (the fault rupture length is about 105 kin). Because the Chelungpu fault was locate at the west coast of Taiwan and significant damage was observed. Immediately after the earthquake National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) organized university professors, graduate students and practicing engineers from all over the island to investigate the damage of civil infrastructures in the earthquake affected area. The damage data collected from the reconnaissance teams was analyzed and will be used as an important documents for the study on the seismic design of structures. The reconnaissance teams included: 1.Fault and geology investigation, 2.Strong ground motion characteristics, 3.Geotechnical investigation (include: liquefaction, foundation failure, and landslide), 4.Building damage investigation, 5.Bridge and transportation damage investigation, 6.Lifeline damage investigation (include: power, communication and gas systems), 7.Industrial facility damage investigation, 8.Hydraulic system damage investigation, 9.Social and economic aspect, All the damage data collected from each reconnaissance team will provide the reconstruction and recovery committee, Executive Yuan, for their information. |
