英文摘要 | Wild small mammals were live-trapped near Kaohsiung harbor and Penghu areas. The lead concentrations in blood and bone were then analysed by furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer, and the concentrations of lead of the surface soil around the same area were also examined. In this study, the lead levels in blood of hybrid rats housing in the animal room were used as reference base line value. The lead levels in the blood of rats (R. novegicus, 19.36±4.93μg/dL,n=113; S.murinus, 16.61±5.00μg/dL,n=18; R. rattus, 17.33±1.98μg/dL,n=6) trapped from Kaohsiung area were significantly higher than those of the same species from Penghu area (14.45±5.23μg/dL, n=13; 7.54±1.20μg/dL,n=19; 13.75±3.33μg/dL,n=13; respectively). The lead levels in the bone of three species (R.novegicus, 71.70 b 14.98μg/g,n=113; S.murinus, 70.59±31.09μg/g,n=18; R.rattus, 69.63±22.26μg/g,n=6) trapped from Kaohsiung area were also significantly higher than those of those of the same species form Penghu are (36.07±28.44μg/g,n=13; 23.88±6.47μg/ g,n=19; 48.56±14.22μg/g,n=13; respectively). The lead level in the blood of hybrid rats was 2.22±1.20μg/dl. A good linear relationship between blood and bone lead for wild small mammals was found to be statistically significant. Meanwhile, the levels of blood lead and bone lead also closely related to the levels of soil lead. The pattern of were wild small mammals to absorb lead into their body is very similar to that of human. Using wild small mammals as biomonitor can continuously represent the environment in which it lives and act as an integrating sampler. From this study, we found that the wild small mammals can reflect the exposure of environmental lead more accurately the human. Therefore, using wild small mammals to evaluate the improvement of environmental with lead pollution might be an ideal bioindicator. |
