中文摘要 | 方法:為分析年齡及體型等因素對健康中國婦女骨代謝的影響,我們選擇四個在臺 灣最常用的骨代謝指標:calcitonin, C-terminal parathyroid hormone (C-PTH), intact parathyroid hormone (i-PTH)和osteocalcin作研究,並收集957位居位在臺灣的健康中國 女性的資料,其年齡介於20至83歲,並將其分為兩群。一群為有規則月經週期的婦女,一群為 停經後之婦女。我們分別計算calcitonin, C-PTH, i-PTH及osteocalcin在這兩群婦女中的 中間值(median),平均值(mean),標準差(standard deviation),頻度表(frequency table)及 柱狀圖(histogram)等。 結果:若與其它國家的報告作比較,我們的結果呈現出不同的正常值分佈且此四個骨代謝指標 的平均值在兩群婦女間並沒有顯著差異,且與身高、體重、BMI值等沒有明顯的相關存在。 |
英文摘要 | Methods: To analyze the age and body status-related changes in the bone remodeling rate of healthy Chinese women, we selected four serum markers which are most commonly used in clinics in Taiwan to evaluate bone turnover: calcitonin, C-terminal parathyroid hormone (C-PTH), intact parathyroid hormone (i-PTH), and osteocalcin to test 957 healthy Chinese females (ages: 20-83 years) residing in Taiwan. They were separated into two subgroups: group 1-women with regular menstrual cycles and group 2-women after menopause. The median, mean and standard deviations, frequency table, and histograms of calcitonin, C-PTH, i-PTH, and osteocalcitonin will be calculated and shown. Results: In comparison with other countries' reports, our results revealed different normal values of serum calcitonin, C-PTH, i-PTH, and osteocalcin levels in normal Chinese women. In addition, no significant differences were demonstrated between groups 1 and 2 to regarding the means of calcitonin, C-PTH, i-PTH, and osteocalcitonin. Besides, no significant correlation was found between age, body length, body weight, and BMI with calcitonin, C-PTH, i-PTH, and osteocalcin. |
