英文摘要 | This paper presents two basic piping arrangement schemes-Orthogonal Routing Method (ORM) and Surface Routing Method (SRM)--for automatic routing design of marine piping systems. A special operator-orthogonal operator ♁--has been developed for the ORM to select the optimal pipe route that connects a pair of source and destination points and tangents with source and destination vectors. A connectivity operator has been developed for the SRM to make the pipe route paralleled with the bounding surfaces of a space. From the point view of piping arrangement, the SRM is more practical and useful than the ORM. Both methods are bases to automate the piping system design for ships and large-scale plants. |
