英文摘要 | In this study, a filter test system with clean fabric bags was used to measure the pulse pressure of the fabric bag that was used as an index of bag cleaning intensity. The average pulse pressure in the bag can be predictedfrom the cleaning system operating point which is the intersection of the jet pump curve and the bag operating line. In addition, whether or not a venturi is necessary can be determined from the operating point for various cleaning conditions. Experimental results of this study show that a higher pulse pressure can be achieved without the venturi at the bag top for bag materials with low resistance coefficient. For bags with higher resistance coefficients, higher pulse pressure is obtained with venturi installed at the bag top. The predicted pressure values are in good agreement with experimental data. The analyzing result for the experimental data of jet pump curves show that the jet pump curves obtained under different tank pressures can be reduced to a nondimensional curve, which can be used to facilitate the design and operation of a pulsejet cleaning system. |
