中文摘要 | 氮化矽陶瓷因具有高溫機械性質,廣泛被應用在引擎零件或切削刀具、機械密封 、軸承、熱交換及引擎等元件上,所以其機械性質與高溫性質一直備受矚目,因此欲提昇機 械性質必須由微結構著手,才能作有效的改進。 本實驗以不同含量的助燒結劑、燒結方式對微結構變化與機械性質之影響;分別就液相含量 對晶粒生長與晶界結晶化的影響做探討。 結果顯示,隨著 Yb �� O �假K加量的增加( 2.5-10vol% ),晶粒粒徑、長寬軸比及晶粒長度皆稍許增加,於熱壓燒結體中,含 10% Yb�烙�高漣U燒結劑有較好的 R 曲線行為及較佳的缺陷容忍度,而韌化機構主要題晶粒架橋 、裂縫轉折與晶粒粒出等機構。 |
英文摘要 | Silicon nitride (Si�衹��) is a highly attractive ceramic material because of its excellent high temperature mechanical properties. It have been widely used as varies kinds of engineering components, such as cutting tools, mechanical sealing, bearings, heat exchangers, and components in heat engines. This research was to investigate the relationship between microstructure and mechanical properties. The effect of additives on the microstructure during sintering were investigated. It is found that the average size, the aspect ratio, Yb:Si ratio in the amorphous pocket increased with the amount of Yb�烙�� additives. Hot-presed silicon nitride samples with 10vol% ytterbium oxide exhibit better R-curve resistance and defect tolerance. The toughening mechanisms include grain bridging, crack deflection, and pull-out. |
