中文摘要 | 在道路系統中,由於車輛通過路口時,會與其他車流產生分流、併流及交叉等衝 突行為,促使車輛行經平面交叉路口時,所面臨之危險性隨之升高。為了有效降低交叉路口 之危險性,交通工程師通常採用設立交通號誌控制系統之手段,透過時間交互更迭方式,將 路權有效分配給各臨近路段,使車流的行止與轉向有其規律性,以維持路口之安全水準。然 而,交通號誌控制系統的設置,以往均依交通流量之大小而設立,並未就路口之安全性與車 流的疏解效率加以考量。故本研究及參考過去對安全指標與效率指標之研究,對路口設立號 誌之績效以臨界流量做為衡量基礎,再配合效率值大小作為路口是否號誌化之判斷依據,俾 能使號誌設置的準則更臻妥善完備,以作為交通工程師是否於路口設置號誌之參考依據。 |
英文摘要 | The surrounding of an intersection is always the most dangerous area in an urban street network. This phenomenon is caused by the traffic movement (diverge, merge, and cross) for completing their trip purposes of drivers. The traffic engineers usually use the control strategy of signalization for an intersection. The allocation of a signal control system is just to ensure a protected or permitted right of way of the drivers. The past studies of the most researchers focus on the quantities of traffic flow for determining the threshold of signalization. It has never done on the issue of combined approach: safety index and efficiency index. This paper has delivered an idea of evaluating the effects of the above two conflicting index and also to discuss the new threshold of signalization not only considering the volume. The traffic engineers can use the result of the study for deciding the necessity of signalization at an intersection. |
