英文摘要 | This research presents the replenishment decision for the deterministic inventory model with combined order. The EOQ model (economic order quantity) for single commodity problem, is the simplest and most fundamental of all inventory models, it describes the important trade-off between fixed order costs and holding costs. When multiple items are purchased from the same supplier, there are reasons for combining orders. For instance, one would like to eliminate tedious tracking records for many small orders, such as items with high volume but less expensive. Another example will be to save setup (order) cost when orders are combined. When multiple items are ordered and received simultaneously, the setup cost applies to the combined order once, savings of the setup cost is likely. However, one can not apply the separate EOQ decisions for these items simply because they have different time between replenishment (cycle time.) This research analyzes cost function of the deterministic inventory model with combined order and derives the optimal ordering policy for the combined order. |
