英文摘要 | The present study was designed to investigate the applicability of Bandur's self-efficacy theory to develop a suitable scale to measure the self-efficacy for learning for junior high school students. The sample included 419 male and 407 female students from 17 junior high schools. The Scale of Self-Efficacy for Learning (SSEL), containing 6 Likert 4-point subscales which account for 52.5% explantory power of variance, was developed. Satisfactory estimate of validity, internal consistency, and test-retest stability were obtained. This investigation of the SSEL suggests that it may be a useful tool for teaching and guidance in the junior high schools. |
