中文摘要 | 本試驗主要目的為建立臺灣雷克斯兔毛皮成熟前各換毛週期間兔毛生長情形及變化 過程之基本資料,並探討雷克斯兔於臺灣環境中達最適合屠宰之日齡,以改善兔毛皮品質、 提高兔農經濟效益及作為改良兔毛皮品質試驗研究之參考。 逢機選取海狸色雷克斯兔 (Castor Rex) 公 16 隻,母 14 隻, 錦企拉色雷克斯兔 (Chinchilla Rex) 公 11 隻,母 12 隻,自三週齡起每週剃除身體一側的毛,直到兔隻 24 週齡時結束。 試驗期間觀察並記 錄黑色素細胞沉積變化情形, 作為估算各換毛週期日齡之依據; 同時使用毛密度測量儀器 (Compacimeter) 測量毛的密度, 並記錄所剃毛的重量,以膫解臺灣雷克斯兔毛生長變化情 形。此外,亦以剃毛後兔隻黑色素細胞沉積的變化情形,估計各換毛週期日齡。雷克斯兔第 一次換毛日齡,在海狸色系與錦企拉色系平均分別為 31.3 ± 2.3 與 30.5 ± 2.9 日齡; 第二次換毛平均日齡則分別為 75.1 ± 12.2 與 71.3 ± 6.8 日齡; 第三次換毛平均日齡 分別是為 131.2 ± 17.2 與 133.9 ± 14.6 日齡。所剃下之兔毛重量自生長期開始重量逐 漸增加,直至達一頂點後,再隨著復故期的開始逐漸減少至休止期呈現生長停止的狀態。毛 密度分析結果顯示:兔隻第三次換毛週期時,毛皮趨於緊密,且在休止期時毛密度呈現最佳 的狀態,故臺灣雷克斯兔之最適合屠宰的日齡應為第三次換毛週期的休止期,最適合屠宰日 齡平均為 132.8 ± 15.6 日。 此外,因兔毛重量係受各換毛週期間兔毛生長情形息息相關 ,故在生長初期與休止期時,剃下之兔毛重量為最輕,直至生長期後始再逐漸增加。 |
英文摘要 | The objective of this study was to investigate the growth gradients of hair and the age on priming during moulting periods in Taiwan Rex rabbits. The evaluation on age at the optimum slaughtered stage was also included in this study to improve the fur quality and promote the production efficiency of Rex rabbit farmers. A total of 30 Castor Rex (including 16 bucks and 14 does) and 23 Chinchilla Rex (including 11 bucks and 12 does) were used in the study. All animals were sheared on the left side coat from the back bone to the middle of the belly and the two legs and tail, except the head, during testing period of 3 to 24 weeks of age. The recorded items included the moving status of melanocyte and compactness of fur during hair growth cycle, as well as the sheared hair weight and moulted area to correctly evaluate the moulting stage and the corresponding age. The age of telogen phase at the first, second and third multing stages were (31.3 ± 2.3, 75.1 ± 12.2 and 131.2 ± 17.2 days of age) and (30.5 ± 2.9, 71.3 ± 6.8 and 133.9 ± 14.6 days of age) for Castor and Chinchilla Rex rabbits, respectively. The weight of sheared hair increased continuously during growth period of hair, then decreased gradually during involutional and resting periods. Results indicated that the coat tended to be more compact and expressed the prim quality at telogen stage of the third moulting cycle, which was suggested to be the optimum slaughtered age, i.e., when rabbits were at 132.8 ± 15.6 days of age in average. Also, weight of hair was highly correlated with the growth cycle of hair, and thus the weight of sheared hair would be lighter as expected during the early stage of anagen stage and telogen stage in each moulting cycle. |
