英文摘要 | Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and polyglycolic acid (PGA) were used as fillers for a commercial acrylic one cement, Surgical Simplex-P Radiopaque Bone Cement. By comparing the effect of the TCP and PGA on the dynamic mechanical properties of acrylic bone cement, we found that the acrylic bone cement with PGA had a better damping than that with TCP. Bone cement filled with TCP has storage modulus E' increasing with the TCP content, while that filled with PGA has E'decreasing with the PGA content. The damping of TCP-filled bone cement was lower than PGA-filled bone cement, and both were lower than that of unfilled bone cement. This indicates that PGA is more compatible with acrylic bone cement than TCP. |
