英文摘要 | Differentiation inducers interact with the regulatory component of ternary methylation enzymes. Differentiation helper inducers, in contrast, inhibit individual methylation enzymes, which can greatly potentiate the activity of differentiation inducers. Modulation of methylation enzymes to achieve DNA hypomethylation is a critical event for the activation of genes involved in differentiation processes. RA�� can only achieve around 90% differentiation, whereas RA in combination with a differentiation helper inducer can reach 100 % differentiation. Completion of differentiation is very important to avoid the recurrence often associated with RA therapy. Thus, differentiation helper inducers are vital to effective differentiation therapy. Much attention has been focused on PA because of its effectiveness in the treatment of brain tumors. In this study, we describe new differentiation helper inducers that are better than PA, including methyl and ethyl phenylacetamide, ethyl phenylacetate, 2,4-dichlorophenylacetic acid and indole-3-acetic acid. |
