英文摘要 | A non-invasive system, which monitors Respiratory Rates through a fingertip by using photoplethysmography, has been developed and evaluated. The optical properties of the vascular bed are measured by transmission mode photoplethymographic device using infra-red (940nm) light emitting diodes as pulsed light sources. During the measurement there is a signal conditioning circuit to reduce the noise and to amplify the signals. The respiratory rates can be extracted from the infrared photoplethysmographic waveform. The results provide clear evidence that respiratory rates could be monitored by the pulse-type method. |
