| 英文摘要 | To derive the absolute latence of somatosensory evoked potentials is very difficult mathematically Therefore, a compromise is to measure the change in latency between sucessive averages. This is valid because the effect of anaesthetic agents on the somatosensory evoked responese is to give a dose-dependent increase in latency. To determine the latence change the first average is used as a "template" or reference for the succeeding averages. The first positive wave can be considered as a change from the baseline with a slope to the peak of the first positive wave. This slope is determined by choosing a data point near the peak and then performing a linear regression of a "guessed" segment (species and sampling-rate dependent) preceding this data point. The model is further refined using the steepness inference algorithm. The latency change is obtained by calculating the L慨orm between two slopes. Results from simulatio and anaesthetised rats show that this method is reliable in comparison with absolute latency by visual inspection, robuset to DC bias and signal distortion, and efficient in computation. |
