英文摘要 | This study is aimed to evaluate the feasibility of automatic control of anaesthesia using hierarchical struture. Although arterial pressure is still one of the most important measures in estimating the required dose of inhaled anaesthetics, heart rate (HR) and end-tidal gas concentration (Et) are also playing vital parts of the anaesthesia. Hence, five levels of hierarchical control strucure, based on systolic arterial pressure (SAP). HR and Et, which can monitor and control of the anaesthesia in the operating theatre, is described. In order to assess the automatic performance of this system, eight patients have been tested in this system using the hierarchical sturcture. The mean (SD) of the SAP and HR wer 108.29(3.72 SD) mmHg and 96.69 (14.61 SD) best min �笐�, which means the stability of the cardiovascular output is acceptable according to the anaesthetist's clinical experience. However, the mean (SD) of the percentage of time in auomatic control was achieved in 89.15 (5.61 SD) % which means it could reduce a great portion of the workload for anaesthetists during maintenance stages. We conclude that the automatic control of anaesthesia during maintenance stage is feasible but further clinical studies are needed before it becomes routine practice to assist the anaesthesiologists. |
