英文摘要 | Activities in automated manufacturing systems (AMSs) include physical actions of entities (entity movemets and part transformation), flow of information (sending or receiving messages), and tasks of controllers (decision-making or status-updating). In order to capture all these activities occurring in AMSs for the control or simulation purpose, an approach of using specification language is used. Using specification languages to describe the behavior of an automated manufacturïng systems (AMS) is a new and promising approach. Due to their welldefined and well-constructed nature, specification languages force people to describe their systems in a manner that is unambiguous, consistent, and precise. These features result in a correct, effective, and economical implementation. A language called Message-Action Specification Language (MASL)is developed in this study for specifying activities in AMSs. This language enhances the C language with constructs, such as module, message, action, and timing. Given these constructs and the structure-s of C (data types, control flow statements, functions, etc.), people can specify those systems that need to integrate or control both message passing and physical actions; such systems include AMSs and flexible manufacturing systems (FMSs). |
