英文摘要 | The reflectance spectrum of skin is a non-invasive measurement that is frequently taken in biomedical optics applications. A Monte Carlo simulation was performed in this study to model the near-infrared reflectance spectrum of skin in the 900 nm to 1300 nm region. Optical coefficients found in literature were used to carry out the simulation. The simulated reflectance spectrum is similar to the measured skin reflectance spectrum in both the shape and magnitude. The proper range of the scattering and anisotropy coefficients of skin tissue was found by adjusting these coefficients to have the best match of the simulation spectrum with the measured spectrum. The anisotropy coefficient falls in between 0.845 and 0.945, and the scattering coefficient falls in between 30 and 60 cm. |
