英文摘要 | The structural behavior of a cable-stayed bridge is strongly influenced by the cable forces. Since the cable-stayed bridge is a highly indeterminate structure, the solution to the cable forces is not unique. How to decide the proper cable forces in order to achieve a safe and economic design is the major task in the cable-stayed bridge design procedure. The purpose of this paper is to propose an optimization method to decide the cable forces. The most economic solution can be obtained under certain specified force and deformation constraints. One example is illustrated and discussed in this paper. The proposed optimization method has been implemented in the design of cable-stayed bridges in Taiwan. |
