中文摘要 | 「語文」二字之定義乃是語言及文化,因此在EFL(英文為第二外語)的課程上 必須二者兼顧,才不失偏頗,既能提高學習興趣,又能增加效果。然而在文化的介紹上, 尤其對科技大學的學生,以其大部份是高職畢業的背景而言,尤其需多費心為語言課程加 注人文的素養,其方式以較活潑的文化背景探討、風俗介紹,及其對中國文化、台灣習俗 的比較,以及適時地加入戲劇表演等,均能大幅提高學生對此一語言的實用性及接受度。 然而作者認為學生須加強對自身的認知,及對母文化的認同,進而對母文化產生信心及使 命感,知己知彼,百戰百勝,方能立足今日的地球村內。 |
英文摘要 | Language is a uniquely human attribute. More than anything else, it is what sets man apart from the animal world. It is the vehicle of communication and speech, making possible the keeping of records and the transmission of knowledge, and is the primary basis for creative thought. Without language there would be no progress, no civilization, no culture. The cultural heritage of mankind resides in language. In the language and literature of every people is preserved their hopes, their aspirations, and their thoughts. A foreign language presents many interesting facets of the society that produce it. |
