英文摘要 | Since English is an alphabetic language in which letter and sound have a close connection, the sound stimulation plays an important role in EFL reading. However, Chinese subjects prefer to read English by "eyes" rather than by "mouth" or "ears." They are good at reading and writing English but not at listening or speaking English. The explainable reason is that students do not have the natural learning environment and lack of English sound input as they learn English as a foreign language in Taiwan. This paper aims to explore the role of sound stimulation in EFL reading. The study results testified that the intermediate high-and low-level proficiency readers had difference for the application of sound input in EFL reading. |
