中文摘要 | 本研究主要的目的是希望深入了解 A356 鋁合金消失模鑄造法在整個鑄造過程中流 動的變化,所以本研究嚐試利用數值模擬的方法來模擬出在澆鑄過程中整個流體流動的型態 ,並用實驗來加以輔助驗證。 在消失模澆鑄過程中,流體流動的數值解析模擬最主要是必須考慮到模穴內部因保麗龍熔解 而產生大量氣體所形成的強大背壓力對流體流動形式的影響。本研究利用自由表面邊界條件 的設定和在流體流動的反方向施以一個反向力( 約 260cm/sec �插^來解決流體流動型態 因背壓造成的影響。 由水平側澆的階梯形鑄件溫度量測實驗中發現,在澆鑄的過程中,金屬熔液接觸到熱電偶的 順序是從 S# 1、S # 2、S # 3、S # 4 依次往前, 這與一般重力鑄造的流動型態是不一樣 的,而本研究利用改良的自由表面邊界條件及反向力的設定來模擬出水平側澆時階梯形鑄件 的流動型態,而此流動型態是一個向 3D 方向擴展的流動型態,與實際情形相當吻合。 |
英文摘要 | This research is to study the fluid flow phenomena for the evaporative pattern casting (EPC) of A356 aluminum alloy. Numerical simulation method is employed to simulate the flow pattern of molten aluminum during the filling of the casting. A corresponding EPC casting is made and temperature measurements are taken. Flow pattern can be withdrawn form the temperature data and compare with the simulated results to verify the numerical simulation system. For the filling of a EPC casting, one major difficulty to simmulate the fluid flow phenomena is how to take into account the effect of the strong back pressure generated by the evaporation of the polystyrene pattern on the flow pattern. In this study, free surface boundary conditions are modified along with the incorporation of a back force (approximately 260 cm/sec��) to handle this back pressure problem. Temperature measurements from a stepwise EPC casting poured horizontally from the side reveal that molten aluminum makes contacts with the thermocouples in the order of S#1, S#2, S#3, and S#4. This flow pattern differs from the flow pattern usually observed in gravity casting. With the modified free surface boundary conditions and back force introduced in this study, the simulated flow pattern in the stepwise casting shows uniform expansion in all three directions , which is consistent with the measured flow pattern. |
