中文摘要 | 本研究以塔塔加地區之台灣雲杉林為對象,設置100個10×10m的樣區,分析林 型組成、林分齡級構造、空間分佈等變化情形。 結果顯示樣區內台灣雲杉之直徑級與齡級分佈呈左偏歪之鐘形。以聚集強度指數和樣區 變異數模式分析其空間分佈,小徑木(<25cm)的塊集呈現較密集且塊集面積約400-500m ; 中徑木(26-50cm)亦是聚集分佈,但聚集度較小,塊集不易確切地劃定,所形成的面積約2,600m ;大徑木(>50cm)的聚集度很小,接近逢機分佈,樣區內台灣雲杉林概分為建造期、成熟期 與孔隙期。由關聯性分析得知台灣雲杉與其他主要針葉樹種為負向關聯,而與耐陰性強的闊 葉樹有正向關聯。台灣雲杉直徑生長與樹齡大致呈直線關係,但直徑大小的變異隨樹齡變大 而增大。林分結構以中、小徑木居多,且小徑木和早期的大徑木均有較高的進級機率,但後 來有趨於平緩之現象。調查樣區內並無小苗之出現。推測其更新乃經由台灣雲杉林之孔隙期 、建造期及成熟期皆呈塊狀鑲嵌構造,經由不同塊集之更換,完成全林分之維持與更新。 |
英文摘要 | The objectives of this study were to analyze the stand composition, structure and spatial distribution patterns of Taiwan spruce (Picea morrisonicola) within Tatachia LTER site, central Taiwan. 100 quadrants, each 10×10m in size, were set up for this study. The results showed that the diameter distribution of Taiwan spruce stands at Tatachia area was left-skewed. Spatial pattern analysis using aggregation indices and quadrant-variance methods showed that small diameter(<25cm) trees were aggregated, with patch sizes ranging from 400 to 500 m . Medium diameter(26-50cm) trees were also sparsely aggregated and patch sizes were about 2600m , but patch delineation is difficult. Large diameter(>50cm) trees were not aggregated, and the spatial pattern was nearly random. Within the study area, the Taiwan spruce patches could be classified into developing stage, mature stage and gap stage. Species association analysis showed that Taiwan spruce was negatively associated with other major conifers, but positively associated with certain shade tolerant hardwoods. The relationship between tree diameter and age of Taiwan spruce was roughly a liner one. However, diameter variance increased as tree age increased. Seedlings were not found within the sample plots. It is believed that Taiwan spruce maintains and regenerates through mosaic replacement among gap, developing and mature patches. |
