The number 10 and number 15 files were placed using the WD, and they were also placed one mm over and one mm under these distances. These images were acquired on Ektaspeed films and on the RVG-PC system. WD were correctly decided on Ektaspeed film images with both Nos. 10 and 15 K files. On the RVG-PC system, tips of the No 15 K files were unacceptably difficult to identfy when they were under the WD (A=0.90, <0.95). File tips over or under the WD were also unacceptable difficult films were found to perform better than the RVG-PC system when Nos. 10 and 15 K files were used to measure the root canal WD. |
