英文摘要 | Dietary polyunsaturated fats stimulate adipose ilpolytic responses and hormone- sensitive lipase (HSL) activity. To determine whether dietary fats influence gene expression of the enzyme, adipose tissue was collected from neonatal pigs fed skim-milk for 21 days with 3.6% fat supplement as lard, soybean oil, or fish oil plus 0.4% soybean oil (essential fatty acid repleat) Without effects on milk intake and weight gain, dietary fats markedly altered fatty acid profiles of adipose tissue according to their compositions. By using relative quantitation with PCR, we found 35% and 60% more hormone-sensitive lipase gene expressed in adipose tissue from fish oil-fed pigs as compared with that in soybean oil-fed and lard-fed animals, respectively. Since hepatic HSL mRNA was not significantly changed, the stimulatory effect of dietary polyunsaturated fats on the expression of hormone-sensitive lipase gene may be adipose tissue specific. |
