英文摘要 | The antagonistic activity of T. lignorum against R. solani was investigated through the present work to be affected by some environmental conditions and gamma irradiation. Modified Czapek's PDA and Richard's media were reported as the best effective media that favoured the antagonistic potential of T. lignorum against R. solani. Also, incubation temperature at 30℃, pH 5.0 of the modified Czapek's medium and complete darkness were considered as the best environmental factors for antagonism. Meanwhile, antagonistic activity of T. lignorum as a biological control mean against R. solani in vitro was decreased by increasing the radiation dose level to more than 0.01 kGy. There was no difference in the antagonistic activity of irradiated T. lignorum (0.01 kGy) as compared with unirradiated ones, the mycelial growth inhibition of R. solani was 71.11%. The application of dose level up to 1.0 kGy caused a decrease in the antagonistic activity of t. lignorum and the mycelial growth inhibition of R. solani was decreased to 44.07%. |
